Senior Supervisor – Temporary for up to 12 months
Salary £46,374pa
Due to growth and internal progression, KWL are recruiting for a senior supervisor with experience from within a Construction and/or Building Maintenance Environment, who can help to deliver the growing ambitions of the business.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Senior Supervisor to manage and supervise a high-profile, fast paced element of our business.

Responsibilities:
* Be the main point of contact in the absence of the section Manager.
* Proactively investigate KPI failures, identify improvements and assist the manager to implement effective solutions.
* Assist the Manager in recruitment, selection and development of supervisors, employees and apprentices.
* Ensure the consistent implementation of all activities, policies and procedures e.g. adherence to working hours, code claiming, the company Code of Conduct, delivery of team meetings/briefings etc.
* Be responsible for ensuring all work carried out by supervisors, employees and subcontractors is completed correctly through random/targeted checks across the work area i.e. both system and on-site checks; reporting findings to the Manager.
* Liaise effectively with Administration, Health & Safety, Customer Service and Procurement Teams to solve problems collaboratively.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
* Previous supervisory experience within a social housing sector background and management of multidiscipline teams.
* Proven experience of managing HR matters such as conduct and sickness absence.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Qualified craft/trade background (desirable).
* SSSTS/SMSTS (or equivalent) (desirable).
* IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications (desirable).
* A strong commitment to service improvement.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments.
