Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Your Role: Work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, supporting both in class and through targeted 1:1 and small group interventions Assist students with a range of additional needs including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) diagnoses Provide both academic and emotional support, ensuring students stay focused and engaged Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to develop strategies that meet individual learning needs Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment ✅ Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – About You: A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field Previous experience in a school, SEN, support, or care setting (desirable but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour management Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic SEN environment Why Work with Smile Education Northwest?
