Christmas Customer Assistant – Fashion, Home & Beauty – Charlton

Working pattern
Monday: 15:00 ‑ 23:00
+£3.00 unsocial premium added for hours between 22:00 ‑ 06:00

Under 18 disclaimer: This role involves late‑night working and is only open to candidates aged 18 or over.

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates will be asked to work up to full time during the weeks commencing 14 th and 21 st December.

Join our team as a Customer Assistant in the Clothing & Home section, where you’ll become a champion of our stylish products, on‑trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for passionate and fashion‑forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation.

As a brand ambassador, you’ll recommend the newest fashion items and make sure customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.

* Digitally confident: utilise Sparks App and in‑store devices to enhance the customer experience.
* Efficiency and effectiveness: ensure customers don’t wait and enjoy every experience in the store.

* Flexibility: work effectively across various areas of the store and adapt to changing demands.

Purpose
Deliver a great shopping experience for our customers and champion the brilliant products we offer.

Key Accountabilities

* Serve customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points.
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked.
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver remarkable service.
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
* Receive training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
