Our vibrant SEND school in Altrincham is seeking an enthusiastic Complex Needs Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team.
About the Role
You will lead a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, sensory and physical needs, and communication difficulties. Your role will be to create an inspiring, nurturing environment where every child can thrive, learn, and achieve their potential.
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
Use a range of communication methods (PECS, Makaton, AAC) to support understanding and expression.
Work closely with our skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and families.
Foster independence, resilience, and confidence in every learner.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience or a strong interest in SEND education.
Patient, adaptable, and creative in approach.
Skilled at building strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
Passionate about inclusive education and positive outcomes for every child.
