About this role: For all years within the school, this school is seeking a full-time SEN teacher who has experience working with students requiring extra support within the classroom. To help students reach their greatest potential, you are expected to deliver inspiring and motivating lessons. Candidates should organise and facilitate a stimulating learning environment, work collaboratively with a supportive team, and co-plan assignments to ensure best practices and consistency across classrooms. The ideal candidate will have a QTS or PGCE with relevant SEN experience. They should be confident in their ability to teach and plan lessons across various year groups, familiar with the current curriculum, and capable of assessing and supporting students' individual needs before classes. The candidate should also be skilled in implementing behavioural and emotional management strategies, adopting effective teaching approaches, and increasing student achievement, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. Experience in delivering differentiated, engaging lessons and therapeutic interventions for students with complex needs, such as social, emotional, and mental health challenges, is essential. The role requires a primary teaching model.
