About Teaching Personnel: Teaching Personnel is the top educational recruitment company in the UK. It works with a variety of schools in the Greater London area, including primary and specialised schools, to supply them with candidates who are skilled in their field and eager to learn more. Teaching Personnel can guarantee that our candidates are suited for your school through meticulous screening and professional candidate matching.

About this role: For all years within the school, this school is seeking a full-time SEN teacher who has experience working with students requiring extra support within the classroom. To help students reach their greatest potential, you are expected to deliver inspiring and motivating lessons. Candidates should organise and facilitate a stimulating learning environment, work collaboratively with a supportive team, and co-plan assignments to ensure best practices and consistency across classrooms. The role also involves helping with planning and sourcing resources for students. You will join a welcoming community that values collaboration and strives for uniformity in teaching practices.

Job and Site Benefits:

* A supportive and friendly ethos
* A highly supportive staff team

The ideal candidate will have a QTS or PGCE with relevant SEN experience. They should be confident in their ability to teach and plan lessons across various year groups, familiar with the current curriculum, and capable of assessing and supporting students' individual needs before classes. The candidate should also be skilled in implementing behavioural and emotional management strategies, adopting effective teaching approaches, and increasing student achievement, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. Experience in delivering differentiated, engaging lessons and therapeutic interventions for students with complex needs, such as social, emotional, and mental health challenges, is essential. The role requires a primary teaching model.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and all staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. Appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Child Workforce DBS check and reference checks.

Applicants must have the appropriate qualifications and training. Please refer to the FAQ section on the Teaching Personnel website for further details. Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanence at a later date.

Teaching Personnel undertakes safeguarding checks in accordance with DfE guidance, which may include online searches of shortlisted candidates. We offer free child protection and prevent duty training to all registered candidates. All candidates must have or undertake a valid enhanced DBS check, with full assistance provided.
