What You'll Be Doing
As a Technical Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing and analysing technical construction drawings
2. Calculating floor areas and building dimensions for quoting and surveying
3. Supporting engineers and customers with technical queries
4. Coordinating internal teams to ensure timely project delivery
5. Completing documentation, uploading reports, and updating systems
6. Assisting with quotation preparation and client proposals
7. Gaining hands-on experience and full training to progress into an Estimator role
8. Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal quality processes
Training & Progression
You'll receive structured training tailored to develop your skills in estimating, technical drawing interpretation, and customer project handling.
Over time, you'll progress into a Building Services Estimator role, with increased responsibility and salary potential. Further qualifications may also be supported.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and ready to learn. Ideally, you will have:
9. Around 2 years of experience in administration, technical support, estimating or coordination (desirable, not essential)
10. Excellent IT skills - confident with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and document management systems
11. A strong background in Maths or Technical subjects -, A-Level in Maths or Further Maths
12. Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret plans or diagrams
13. A professional and friendly communication style - able to work with engineers and clients
14. Interest in construction, engineering, surveying, or similar sectors
