The Opportunity
We are seeking a culinary visionary to join us as Executive Sous Chef, a leadership role that blends artistry with precision. This is a rare opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee all culinary operations from banquets and restaurants to in-room dining and lounges, ensuring every plate reflects the elegance and excellence of The St. Regis London.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire kitchen teams across banquets, restaurants, bar/lounge, room service, and employee dining
* Personally exhibit culinary talent while guiding staff in technique, presentation, and innovation
* Deliver service that exceeds guest expectations and drives loyalty
* Act as a role model for hospitality excellence, fostering trust, respect, and collaboration
* Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
* Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control across culinary operations
* Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
* Foster a culture of motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
* Maintain open communication and establish clear expectations for staff
What We’re Looking For
* 6+ years of experience in culinary
* Strong leadership and team-building skills with proven ability to inspire and mentor
* Excellent communication and guest service abilities
* Knowledge of UK food safety standards and culinary best practices
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-demand luxury setting
