National Account Manager (50% Account Management / 50% New Business)

This National Account Manager role is new due to growth, reporting to the Founder directly, you will be a key part of shaping the commercial strategy and tea.
The remit is split 50/50 between account management and business development, offering a unique chance to both nurture strategic partnerships and open new retail doors.
As National Account Manager you will...
* Manage and grow existing grocery and retail accounts, delivering sales, profit, and distribution targets.
* Develop and execute joint business plans that align with customer objectives and brand strategy.
* Identify, pitch, and win new listings within major UK grocery and retail channels.
* Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and promotional planning.
* Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and category teams to ensure best-in-class execution.
* Analyse performance data, market trends, and competitor activity to drive insight-led decisions.
As National Account Manager you will need...
* Proven track record in National Account Management or Business Development within FMCG (ideally food, drink, beauty, home or pet).
* Experience managing relationships with UK grocery multiples.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment.
