You have a keen understanding of building control and related administrative processes, as well as exceptional customer service skills. What the job involves This role requires you to manage and process income received through fees and charges by preparing invoices for services rendered to both external clients and internal departments, while ensuring adherence to the Council's processes, LBE Constitution, and Financial Regulations. You will handle the end-to-end processing of Building Control applications, contraventions, and dangerous structures, ensuring accurate logging, validation, registration, and case assignment to appropriate officers. Ensuring document retention practices comply with GDPR and the Council Retention Policy is also a crucial part of the job. Additionally, you will be responsible for issuing statutory documents like Completion Certificates, processing competent persons data for Local Land Charges service users, and responding to inquiries from customers and applicants using Building Control services.
