About the Service We re currently recruiting for Relief Support Workers to join our team in Lanarkshire covering services in Blantyre, Airdrie, Motherwell, Hamilton and Rutherglen. Our Supported Living Services offer an engaging and dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You ll be part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional, person-centred care to individuals who are primarily deafblind and have a range of complex support needs. Some of the people we support do not communicate verbally, so creativity, patience, and understanding are key. At the heart of what we do is value-based communication tailoring our approach to suit each person s unique needs, abilities, and preferences. Our teams empower those we support to lead meaningful, independent lives filled with choice, confidence, and opportunity. The people we support have a with a variety of health conditions, including epilepsy, deafblindness, and mobility challenges. You ll help them live happy, purposeful lives and achieve their personal goals at home and in the wider community. Relationship-building is key to this role, alongside providing support with: Personal care, housework, medication, meal prep, managing finances, and companionship in their own homes Liaising with families and professionals to ensure high-quality, consistent care Promoting independence and individuality in line with their Support Plans Recording daily tasks and maintaining accurate records Working as part of a supportive, communicative team A bit about the people you ll support They love getting out and about from local walks and shopping trips to cinema nights and weekly discos with friends. Holidays, day trips, and time with family and friends are important to them, and they enjoy planning activities that bring fun and laughter into every day. What s the shift pattern? Our Service provides round-the-clock support every day of the year.
