The Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Refrigeration Service & Installation Engineer to join a dedicated service team. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing farm milk cooling systems across Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and North Wales. The role offers a varied workload, from planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns to full system installations, ensuring farms remain compliant with F-Gas regulations and operate efficiently.

The Candidate:
- Electrical: Able to test components (volt free to v), trace faults through panels, program controllers, replace motors, and wire communication cables
- Refrigeration/Mechanical: Experience in refrigeration or milk cooling systems, brazing, soldering, plumbing, and safe diagnosis of faults. F-Gas qualification highly desirable
- Plumbing: Skilled in fitting cylinders, water pumps, and IBC water tanks
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability with tanks and refrigeration systems
- Previous experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical engineering is highly transferable
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and within a team
The Package:
- Salary: £35, – £38, DOE
- 40-hour working week (Monday–Friday)
- 1 in 3 on-call rota (emergencies only, evenings/weekends)
- Overtime premium paid at 1.5x rate + £ callout bonus
- 25 days holiday after qualifying period
- Company pension scheme
