Plant Supervisor - Heidelberg Materials, Whatley
This is your chance to step into a key role in the construction materials industry with full support and training. We're looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Whatley. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations.
Hours: 45 hours per week
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the concrete plant
* Use computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete
* Communicate with customers and coordinate deliveries
* Supervise contractors and hauliers on-site
* Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented site
* Operate the batching plant according to company standards and improve site presentation
* Accurately batch concrete/mortar following procedures
* Ensure the plant is stocked with approved materials at all times
* Visually check stocks weekly and verify monthly
* Record actions during routine maintenance and inspections
