Owen Reed is looking to recruit a General Office Team Leader to join our Operations department for a top law firm in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role and will be based 100% in the office.
The Role
The General Office Team Leader will play a key role in overseeing essential operational services and ensuring the smooth running of the Birmingham office. Responsibilities will include:
* Managing and training a General Office Assistant to deliver workplace services.
* Overseeing incoming requests through task management systems.
* Reviewing and adjusting resource allocation to meet business needs.
* Promoting best practices and managing change effectively.
* Coordinating facilities and maintenance requests.
* Liaising with the Front of House team for reception cover and support.
* Ensuring staff kitchens are fully stocked with catering supplies.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* A proactive and positive attitude with the confidence to use initiative.
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
* A polite, professional, and approachable manner.
