We’re seeking a driven and experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Mission Critical team in Southampton, delivering cutting-edge Data Centre projects across the UK and internationally.

Your Impact:
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the electrical design and delivery of high-performance, high-availability data centre projects. You’ll work in collaboration with world‑class engineers, architects, and clients, driving technical excellence from concept through to commissioning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead electrical engineering design across all project stages—from feasibility and concept design through to construction and commissioning
* Deliver robust LV and MV electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, UPS, lighting, and containment
* Manage and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams
* Ensure designs meet client specifications, project requirements, and industry standards
* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Act as a key client contact—building trusted relationships and ensuring successful outcomes
* Support bids, team resourcing, and technical development across the team
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards CEng)
* Strong experience in electrical design for Data Centres, critical infrastructure, or large‑scale commercial/industrial projects
* Proficiency in tools such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD
* Excellent understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (BS7671, IEC, etc.)
* Clear communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
