AOV Engineer Basics up to £44,000 DOOR TO DOOR TRAVEL The Client Our client is a well-established and highly respected UK-based firm, operating within the fire and life safety sector, seeking a AOV and Damper Engineer to join their growing team. They are recognised for their technical expertise, strong safety culture and long-term investment in their people. The Role The role for a AOV and Damper Engineer will involve carrying out system installations based on technical documentation, configuring and commissioning equipment to achieve full operational performance, and supporting the long-term reliability of existing systems through planned servicing and fault resolution. Strong communication is essential, as the engineer will work closely with site teams, clients and internal stakeholders to maintain progress and resolve issues as they arise. Accurate record-keeping forms an important part of the role, with engineers expected to complete structured reports following site visits, commissioning activities and service works. This position offers a high level of responsibility and autonomy, suited to an engineer who takes pride in delivering compliant, high-quality solutions within a live construction and occupied building environment.
