Quantity Surveyor - Low Rise Block Management and Area Based Regeneration
Waverley Court
Salary: £44,257 - £52,373
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
We have an exciting opportunity for Quantity Surveyors to join the Area Based and Low-Rise Block Management team.
Area Based Regeneration Team
You will assist in the development and implementation of a mixed tenure housing service. You will support projects delivering repairs, maintenance, and energy efficiency improvements on low-rise mixed-tenure tenement blocks where the Council has an interest as a co-owner/landlord.
Low Rise Block Management
You will support the delivery of capital works to ensure our housing stock is sustainable for the future, including fabric improvements on housing blocks, both fully Council-owned and mixed-tenure blocks, as well as cyclical replacements of elements such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and entry systems. You will also manage estate improvement works and adaptations, working closely with local housing teams to ensure communication and engagement are integral to all projects.
In both areas, you will be required to provide robust financial management, risk management, and contract management of external consultants and contractors. You will undertake a holistic approach by collaborating with other Council teams to ensure wider estate improvements, demolitions, and new builds are aligned.
If you enjoy new opportunities and have strong skills demonstrating respect, integrity, and flexibility—along with extensive experience in maintaining and creating a high-performing culture, driving change, and service delivery—we would love to hear from you.
