Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client in Leeds City Centre that are looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their Finance function on a permanent basis. My client is looking for an ambitious, driven candidate looking to continue progressing as the 2nd in command in the finance function. Job Description
3. Prepare monthly management accounts, cost analysis and supporting schedules for review/sign off
4. Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets, debtors, creditors, banks, liabilities and equity.
5. Post and Review journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation
6. Supporting in year end processes
7. Contribute financial insight in monthly management meetings and support decision marking
8. Regularly review financial processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with business requirements
9. Support in management of transactional finance departments
10. Supporting in transactional finance processing
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. Part Qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA
12. Strong previous experience in a similar Management Accountant, Finance Manager position
13. Strong leaderships skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders
14. Aspirations of being an establish number 2 in the Finance Function
15. Keen eye for detail
16. Enthusiastic to improve processes
