Background and Role IMCD UK is based in Sutton, Surrey, and employs around 200 people. The UK Industrial team are looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their existing team, reporting into the Business Unit Manager. The primary responsibilities would be for the sales and marketing of our pigment portfolios. Your responsibilities at IMCD: To monitor and grow sales in the UK & Ireland To help formulate strategy within the relevant lines of business within the UK and rest of Europe To foster excellent relations with suppliers and customers To provide commercial and technical support to IMCD UK account managers To negotiate purchase and sales contracts with suppliers and customers To balance the supply and demand of products and manage the logistics To monitor customer service, technical and product requirements To support the development of new distributorships Any other ad hoc tasks as required Ideal Candidate: Be a self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills in all environments Be able to take information and distil and re-distribute the relevant parts as appropriate Have some sales or product management experience in the distribution of specialty materials and additives, preferably within Pigment industry across the various business sectors covered by IMCD. Be IT literate having a working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, ERP and CRM systems. Strong analytical skills - ability to analyse, manipulate, interpret, and present data Have a strong attention to detail, identifying and proactively highlighting any data discrepancies Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritise accordingly. Be a team worker with a friendly manner.
