About the Role

In a world where beauty is becoming skin-deep from as young as six years old, you’ll be part of an incredible team working to bring compliance and security to an exciting and rapidly growing industry. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring only the safest products make it onto our bathroom shelves.

As a Regulatory Affairs Senior Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting and advising our diverse client base across cosmetics, food supplements, and medical devices. You’ll work directly with clients, contribute to strategic decision-making, and gain exposure across a broad portfolio of products and markets.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and is excited by the opportunity to grow alongside a scaling consultancy. As an early team member, your voice will be heard and your contributions will matter.


What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Attending prospect meetings and onboarding new clients

· Building strong client relationships through remote and onsite meetings

· Developing regulatory strategies for UK, EU, and global markets

· Creating, maintaining, and conducting gap assessments for Technical Files and Product Information Files (PIFs)

· Conducting cosmetic formulation reviews and label reviews

· Managing product registrations and notifications where required

· Preparing and reviewing UK Responsible Person and EC Authorised Representative documentation

· Creating, reviewing, and signing off Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs)

· Liaising with Notified / Approved Bodies and Competent Authorities

· Representing Taylored Consultancy at exhibitions, conferences, and networking events

What We’re Looking ForEssential

· 3–5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs within the cosmetics industry

· Eligible to work in the UK

· Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

· A genuine willingness to learn, grow, and develop within a team environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team

· High attention to detail with strong analytical skills

· Commercial mindset with energy for a fast-paced, evolving environment

· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific or regulatory field

Desirable (but not essential)

· Qualified Safety Assessor with experience creating and signing off CPSRs

· Medical device experience (UK, EU, and/or US)

· Food supplement regulatory experience

· Quality assurance experience

· Additional regulatory certifications or qualifications
