* Provide professional financial advice and support across the Health Board to enable effective budget setting, financial management and delivery of financial targets.
* Work closely with budget holders to support financial performance, operational delivery and achievement of the Health Board’s financial plan.
* Support financial and business planning processes, ensuring the financial impact of service developments is fully understood and assessed.
* Assist in monitoring financial performance, preparing financial projections, option appraisals and forward plans to manage risks and opportunities.
* Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior managers, highlighting risks, pressures and required actions.
* Support budget holders through financial training and clear communication of complex financial information.
* Help ensure Health Board financial systems, activities and controls meet governance, probity and stewardship standards.
* Deputise for senior colleagues
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
