Senior Finance Analyst RTR
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed-term contract
Location: Swindon - Hybrid working available, 3 days on-site required
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
* Performing accounting processes in scope for various sites, customers, or functions, such as month-end closing, reconciliations (Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Recs, etc.), fixed assets accounting, etc.
* Open book equalizations
* Engaging regularly with site operations teams, Reporting team, BU FCs, and shared services to coordinate inputs and outputs for common processes
* Building deep business knowledge of the customer/sites in scope to support decision-making
* Maintaining period-end and year-end closing schedules for the customer/sites
* Adhering to finance processes and ensuring accurate, timely report production
* Participating in process improvement workshops and activities
* Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution, and escalations
* Delivering processes in scope to meet KPI requirements and supporting performance management
* Supporting change programs
* Ensuring all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed, identifying continuous improvement opportunities
* Managing individual workflow to meet deadlines
* Performing ad hoc tasks and other purchasing or operational admin activities as required by the Controller or Manager
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
* 2-3 years of accounting experience in logistics or a similar industry is preferred
* Experience using Oracle Cloud is preferred
* Effective time management skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Strong financial and analytical skills
