Architect
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £34-38,000
A respected, design-focused architectural practice is seeking a skilled Architect to join its Cardiff studio. With more than 50 years of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects both across the UK and internationally, the practice is known for producing commercially viable, user-centered design solutions. The team operates across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, with a portfolio that includes mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to projects across multiple RIBA stages Develop design concepts from initial idea through to technical completion Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documentation Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders Ensure all work complies with UK Building Regulations Participate in and lead project meetings, presentations, and site visits
The successful Architect will have:
ARB-registered Architect with a recognised qualification Proven experience in a UK architectural practice Strong design and technical skills across all stages of a project Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction techniques Proficiency in Revit; Adobe Creative Suite skills are advantageous Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, organised working style
