We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a rewarding role where you will help children access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND
* Assisting teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs
* Promoting independence, positive behaviour, and social skills
* Supporting pupils’ emotional and academic development
* Collaborating with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to implement personalised support plans
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Have experience supporting children with SEND (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech &; language needs)
* Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
* Be a team player, proactive, and committed to making a difference as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
* Have a genuine passion for inclusive education
