We are seeking a reliable and skilled Coach/Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while ensuring the timely transportation of passengers. This role requires excellent driving skills, an understanding of vehicle mechanics, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff.
Duties
* Operate buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transit.
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing support as needed.
* Communicate clearly with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes that may arise.
* Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the bus interior and exterior.
* Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimise routes and service delivery.
Requirements
* Valid PCV Cat D Licence with no more than 6 points.
* Previous experience as a Coach/Bus driver is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and colleagues.
