Purpose of the Position The Supply Chain Planner will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted product availability by managing end-to-end supply planning activities across our global network. This position focuses on aligning supply with demand, managing Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), optimising costs and inventory, and leveraging advanced planning tools including NetSuite ERP and PLAIO to understand demand trends and the impact to supply planning. The role will contribute to overall operational excellence managing supply chain processes while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards. Core Tasks & Responsibilities Supply Planning & Demand Alignment Develop and maintain supply plans to meet forecasted demand across all markets. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimising excess and obsolescence Raise, track and close purchase orders with CMOs to support production plans Identify, track, and plan for artwork component changes to ensure timely compliance with regulatory implementation requirements CMO Management Coordinate with CMOs to ensure timely production and delivery of finished goods. Manage purchase orders, lead times, and capacity planning with external partners. Track supplier performance and resolve supply issues proactively Monitor supplier performance against their contractual obligations and KPI’s Cost Optimization Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs through efficient planning and sourcing strategies Support initiatives to improve working capital and reduce waste Systems & Tools Utilize NetSuite ERP for transactional and reporting activities. Apply PLAIO supply planning tool for scenario planning, constraint management, and optimization Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems to enable effective decision-making Own weekly inventory reporting, including months-on-hand analysis and identification of anomalies, obsolescence risks, and supply opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and compliance Support S&OP processes and contribute to monthly supply reviews Required skills/experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or experience equivalent to degree level 3 years of experience in supply planning within pharmaceuticals or life sciences Strong understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced planning tools (PLAIO or similar) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to negotiate with external suppliers
