Role: Events Executive
Location: Tresham College – Kettering Campus
Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £30,915 and £41,085 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About the role
We are currently seeking an Events Executive to join our Events and Engagement department at The Bedford College Group.
As an Events Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
* Event Management & Delivery Excellence – Project manage and deliver high‑quality events (recruitment, enrolment, awards and graduations), ensuring professional, engaging and memorable experiences for all stakeholders.
* Planning, Logistics & Compliance – Coordinate all event logistics including venues, staffing, equipment and schedules, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and budget requirements.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Service Delivery – Provide an “agency‑style” support service to internal teams, advising on event planning, aligning delivery to strategic objectives and enhancing the student journey.
* Content Creation & Promotion – Capture events through photography and videography, creating engaging content for social media and promoting the College’s brand and student experience.
* Evaluation, Improvement & Professional Practice – Monitor event success through feedback and reporting, drive continuous improvement, and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and professional standards.
About you
* Qualifications & Event Management Expertise – Educated to Level 4 with GCSE English and maths, and proven experience delivering and managing events end‑to‑end with measurable impact.
* Event Delivery, Planning & Logistics – Strong experience managing budgets, logistics, suppliers and communications, ensuring high‑quality, well‑organised events that meet objectives and stakeholder expectations.
* Content Creation & Digital Engagement – Skilled in producing engaging social media content and marketing materials, with experience using e‑communication platforms for event administration and promotion.
* Communication, Organisation & Customer Focus – Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
* Professionalism, Flexibility & Values – Proactive, detail‑focused and adaptable, committed to College values, continuous improvement, flexible working (including evenings/weekends), and able to travel independently across sites and events.
