Under the leadership of our Front Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly team, develop your skills, and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.
Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Typical shifts include 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 12pm–8pm. Salary: £23,660 per annum. If full‑time isn’t suitable, casual Reception work is available from £9 to £12.25 per hour depending on age.

Responsibilities
* Meet and greet guests on arrival, ensuring an efficient, professional and friendly check‑in/out process.
* Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities and local amenities; proactively promote hotel services to guests.
* Check in guests on arrival and check them out at the end of their stay, handling payments according to procedures.
* Ensure accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
* Balance cash, bank, and other transactions at the end of each shift.
* Answer telephone calls from guests and external callers.
* Assist guests with reasonable requests for hotel services; respond to complaints and resolve them appropriately.
* Maintain a clean and tidy reception area in line with departmental standards.
* Report any technical or maintenance needs; ensure security of reception and storage areas.
* Comply with health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
* Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a respectful, harmonious team environment.
* Any other duties as required by Management.
About You and Requirements
We would love you to have previous hotel reception experience, but this is not essential as our Reception Team will provide full training.
* Good command of English
* Right to Work in the United Kingdom
* Must have previous Reception experience
* Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with Grades A–C in English and Maths
* Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills
* Professional appearance
Desired Criteria: Reception experience ideally gained in a hotel
