Overview
We are looking for a team player with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar position in a hotel kitchen. You will consistently ensure the kitchen develops, provides and maintains a standard of cuisine of the highest order.
Responsibilities
* Be fully conversant with the company’s aims and objectives and play a proactive role in their achievements.
* Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes within the specialty section.
* Assist the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
* Actively help in the management of all staff in the kitchen environment including the training of new employees.
* Monitor portion and waste control.
You will have the ability to work well with all team members in the Resort, follow leadership instructions and work to a high standard in a busy environment.
