Salary: £15.06 per hour Location: The Civic Centre, Ex1 Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm Till March 2026 MAIN PURPOSE To deliver a consistently excellent and accurate service to all customers telephoning or visiting the Customer Services. To resolve queries at the first point of contact, pulling in expertise where required. To gather a complete picture of the problem to be solved and provide a pro-active response, tailored to meet individual's needs. To assist customers in resolving their housing and financial problems and other Council related queries. To support customers in gaining financial independence and sustainable accommodation Skills Must have current working knowledge of using CAPITA Revs and Bens system including actioning a range of Council Tax changes such as applying discounts/exemptions, setting up payment plans and making changes to property occupants. You will be working in a friendly and busy team Excellent empathetic telephone manner and customer service skills are a must, as is the ability to deal professionally with occasionally contentious/challenging conversations.
