Main duties of the job

To provide a focused leadership role and manage the staff and activities of the ward or clinical area as a ward based leader.

To act as a role model, provide leadership and co-ordinate the ward team in the clinical area.To demonstrate advanced clinical specialist skills in order to provide the highest standard of individualised evidence based patient centered care while supervising the work of others (in line with local and national standards). To be responsible for the ward/clinical area.
