Leading national law practice continues their growth in Scotland and is currently looking to hire an additional lawyer at Senior Solicitor/Associate level to specialise in pursuer litigation, based in their offices in Edinburgh.

Due to expansion in their litigation team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join a busy and growing Pursuer department in Edinburgh city centre. The successful candidate will handle litigated and/or complex files, and play a key role in developing strategy and shaping the future of the office.
Duties / Responsibilities:
* Handling a caseload of litigated, pre-litigated, and complex injury files.
* Assisting colleagues with complex matters and delivering training on Scottish legal matters to staff and external clients.
* Ensuring compliance with all Service Level Agreements.
* Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, and solicitors.
* Managing work through the company's Case Management System.
* Attending court hearings, including Sheriff Courts and All Scotland Personal Injury Court.
Skills / Competencies required:
* Experience handling serious injury claims, with the ability to analyse and research legal issues. Experience with PI RTA work, Sheriff Court, and ASPIC litigation procedures is essential. Non-motor injury experience is desirable.
* This role offers the opportunity to join at an Associate level if appropriate or suits someone aspiring to become an associate.
* Strong team player with good attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work under strict deadlines within the Case Management System. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
