We are looking for a pharmacy dispenser or pharmacy technician for 24 hours per week. These will be set out as follows:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 6pm, Totalling 24 hours per week.
There is also opportunities for extra hours during the rest of the week to cover leave for other staff members, and there will be some expectation of flexibility when cover for other staff members is required.
The ideal candidate should have an NVQ2 or equivalent in pharmacy dispensing, at least 2 years experience working in a pharmacy. It would be advantageous for the candidate to be familiar with Titan PMR system. The candidate should be familiar with blister packs and MAR sheets.
The position will be a fixed contrat for 14 months, to be reviewed and extended at that point if appropriate.

Role includes Supporting pharmacy services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications and supporting the pharmacist and other staff members in their roles
Duties: Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
Sale of medicines following protocols in store.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Organise medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities.
Maintains records by recording and filing prescriptions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
