Lived Experience
Many volunteers have lived experience of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. We value the insight and empathy this brings. If you are currently receiving support or staying in refuge accommodation, we recommend waiting until your support journey has concluded before applying. We don’t set a fixed timeframe; we’re happy to have a supportive and confidential conversation about it as part of recruitment.
