Role: Reach Truck FLT Driver

Shift: 12hr, 4on 4off, 8pm-8am
Basic Pay Rate: £14.15ph

Due to continual business growth, gap personnel are currently seeking new team members to join thediverse, friendly,andpassionateteam at our client’s location. Based at their stunning site inIsleport, Highbridge, we have 4 Reach Forkliftpositions available with immediate starts.
As aReach Forklift driver, you will work as an important part of a team supporting supply chain team with intake, storage, picking, packing, control, and dispatch of all stock.
As aReach Forklift driver your role will include:
* Effective operation of equipment to support the delivery of the highest quality of products.
* Support fault finding on equipment to identify and fix the root cause, escalating for support when required.
* Ensuring all equipment is properly cared for by the completion of effective cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
* Works well as part of a team, playing an active part in team and business successes. Engages with the daily challenges and opportunities and works effectively with others to overcome.
* Tasked with booking in of stock as per company procedures, storage of products following company guidelines/procedures, management of all stock related issues.
* Ensure the presentation standard of packed/picked goods meet the company and customer requirements and all plant is safe and effective for the job required.
* Highlight/report breakdowns, problems, safety issues, shortcomings associated with plant that you use.
* To ensure all machinery is kept in good working order and complies with health and safety requirements; (includes fault reporting).
* Ensure Company H & S guidelines are followed and challenged as necessary, being aware of company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* To assist in maintaining a safe working environment, working to best practices ensuring correct PPE is always used and ensure works areas are controlled and kept clear of any debris.
* Raising all health and safety issues promptly and effectively and report directly to a Team Manager or Safety representatives.
* Carry out hygiene and housekeeping tasks ensuring standards are maintained.
* Ensure food hygiene codes are adhered, keeping updated with company procedures and not to deviate from quality standards and maintain Food safety and legality standards.
* Adopt a clean as you go system in the working environment.
What are we looking for, from you?
A pro-active team worker with a Reach truck licence, with good team working skills; Numerical and English language literate; Quality focused; Customer focused; Able to undertake manual tasks; Working at pace; Liaising and co-operating with all members of staff; The ability to work in a physical demanding environment; Attention to details.
Previous experience working in a warehouse/packing role is desired, whilst certificates in Basic Food Hygiene and Basic Health & Safety in the workplace, certified MHE experience are desirable but not essential.
