Page 1 Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, specialist comparison platform based in Cardiff. As the business continues to invest in enhancing its digital experience, our client is looking to appoint a UX Designer to strengthen their user-centred design capability and help shape intuitive, high-performing customer journeys.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced UX professional who enjoys owning the full design process. You will take responsibility for end-to-end UX delivery, including discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iteration, helping to continuously improve the user experience across the platform.
Please note that this is a hands-on individual contributor role, focused purely on UX delivery, with no line management responsibilities.
About You:
* Solid, demonstrable experience working as a UX Designer beyond entry level
* Proven ability to own UX decisions end to end and clearly explain reasoning to stakeholders
* Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability, and accessibility
* Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools such as Figma
* Comfortable using research, data, and testing insight to inform and validate design decisions
* Experience collaborating closely with Web Development, Content, SEO, and Marketing teams
Bonus Points:
* Experience working in product, tech, or performance-led environments
* Familiarity with analytics, CRO, or usability testing
* Exposure to HTML/CSS or strong awareness of implementation considerations
