What you'll be doing Reporting to the Literary Campaigns Director, as Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning, implementing and measuring creative, eye-catching and sales-focused campaigns for literary fiction and non-fiction titles. With a combination of creativity and market awareness, your campaigns will enthuse booksellers, engage influencers, and drive sales for both established literary brand authors and breakout launches. You will also be the lead marketer on our iconic Virago Modern Classics list. You'll be required to confidently present plans to colleagues in-house and externally to authors and agents, pitch for new acquisitions, regularly update key stakeholders on progress, plan and implement organic and paid digital activity, work closely with our international teams, and collaboratively share insights and ideas with the wider team. Who we are looking for We are looking for a passionate, creative and driven marketer to deliver literary campaigns for a range of Little, Brown's titles and to lead on Virago Modern Classics marketing strategy. You will have demonstrable experience and a proven track record of devising impactful marketing campaigns across fiction and non-fiction that result in sales. The ideal candidate will be social media savvy, have a honed eye for design (including briefing freelance designers), an interest in learning and trying new things, and a proven track record of putting creativity and innovation at the heart of their work. The ability to multi-task, work calmly in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player are also vital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketer ready for a new challenge.
