Due to expansion, we are looking for a Contracts/Project Manager to join our growing Electrical Contracting company.
At Power & Control Ltd, we specialise in all aspects of electrical works ranging from – Domestic, Commercial & industrial projects, Renewable energy consisting of Solar PV, Battery Storage & EV Charge Points.
Job description
Your duties as Contracts/Project Manager, will be as follows:
* Plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality.
* Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion.
* Responsible for project costs and variation accounts.
* Diary management.
* Ability to manage a wide range of projects, including small works, large sites, renewable projects (training will be provided).
* Be able to manage both labour and material spend.
* Be able to liaise with client and designers at design and contract meetings.
* Offer technical support to both the client and the engineering team (training will be provided).
* If required, manual on site work to help move projects forward.
* Estimating/Tendering.
Experience/Requirements
* Suitable applicants will have worked in a Contracts/Project Manager role previously.
* Qualified Electrician with at least 10 years experience.
* Experience as a Contracts Manager is crucial.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
* Good I.T skills.
* The ability to form good relationships with clients.
* A positive & proactive approach to tasks.
Salary
* £43-£50k dependant on experience
* This is to be reviewed upon completion of successful probationary period.
