Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. As a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering a patient-centred rehabilitation service, working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
* Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition and mobility.
* Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
* Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team.
* Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.
* Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 8pm.
Qualifications
* Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Organised with good time management skills.
* Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.
