Education & Experience:
* Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
Computer Skills:
* Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation
Certificates & Licenses:
* Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in your state

Responsibilities
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with patients and facilities, adhering to all regulations and guidelines. Deliver quality patient care, including treatment, supervision of Rehab Techs, and case management. Uphold professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties:
* Assist patients in improving functional abilities under OT supervision
* Develop and enhance the occupational therapy assistant program
* Improve clinical and management skills through interaction and continuing education
* Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry issues
* Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods
* Follow infection control and safety protocols
* Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
