Associated Wellbeing are in a privileged position to have our own multi-disciplinary team in house, which includes our Consultant Psychologist, DBT therapists, Occupational Therapist and Social Workers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to join our team. As a Registered Children's Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of children in our new home in Longridge. This is a rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and supervision to a team of child care professionals - Develop and implement care plans for children based on their individual needs - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards - Create a safe and nurturing environment for children - Collaborate with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care - Monitor children's progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed - Provide emotional support to children and their families - Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided
Requirements: - NVQ level 5 qualification - Valid certification as an Ofsted Registered Children's Manager - Previous Ofsted Management experience - Understanding of the needs of children we look after, understanding of trauma informed care - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and empathetic nature
