To support our growing team of 200+ BIGsters in London, we are seeking a proactive and ambitious IT Assistant to join our Operations team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, desktop, and network troubleshooting and setup. You should be interested in working with a broad range of technologies and capable of troubleshooting various issues. You will report directly to the IT Manager in London and work closely with IT teams in Copenhagen and New York. A self-motivated and collaborative approach, along with a desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment, is essential.
Primary areas of responsibility: Provide professional IT support to all BIG London staff
Identify, categorize, prioritize, diagnose, and resolve service incidents and requests, including software, hardware, Microsoft Office 365, printers, scanners, telephone systems, Entra ID, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other standard software used in architecture
Set up new desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Troubleshoot network and server issues and perform regular maintenance
Create and deploy software installations
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot video conference software and hardware
Document software and hardware inventory
Ensure accurate recording and management of service requests and incidents in the Service Desk system
Communicate updates and set service expectations with the IT Manager
Participate in monthly on-call rotations to provide support during weekends when needed
Required skills and experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in a professional office environment
Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Proactive work style with a sense of urgency
Positive attitude towards problem-solving
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
A natural people-person who thrives in a busy, creative environment
This role requires flexibility, as duties may shift over time.
