About You
As a Teacher of Mathematics at Caister Academy, you will be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviours, which we expect of pupils.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Qualified to degree level or above
* Good knowledge of the pedagogy associated with Maths
* Willingness to reflect upon your own experiences in a critical and constructive manner
* Vibrant personality and interpersonal skills
About the Maths Department
At Caister, we pride ourselves in having an amazing group of people who work directly within mathematics. Consisting of six teachers, with lead practitioners and raising achievement mentors alike - we work as a collective to better the outcomes of students across the academy. With links to school departments across the county within the East Mathematics Community, we consider ourselves a key player in changing student perspectives in the subject.
