We would ideally like experience mentoring more junior colleagues and handling escalated issues. Experience in the education sector would be beneficial. We need strong knowledge of Microsoft 365. Responsibilities: We will have you lead a team of 7 IT specialists delivering high-level support to end users across campus. We will rely on you to manage the 1st and 2nd line IT support function across our Furness campuses. You will ensure resources are deployed effectively to meet business needs and provide a responsive service. You will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure planned deliverables are achieved. You will act as the first point of escalation for complex end-user support issues. You will maintain service standards and help ensure KPIs for availability, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction are met. You will drive timely diagnosis and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests. You will ensure clear ticket progression, strong communication with users, and escalation to third-line teams where needed. You will mentor junior colleagues and support continuous professional development. You will ensure processes and procedures are documented, maintained, and followed. You will contribute to operational reporting and service improvement. You will maintain accurate asset management practices and contribute to user-facing and internal knowledge bases. You will support operational efficiencies, stock management for devices and equipment, and responses to cybersecurity incidents.
