About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in a peaceful, person-centred environment. Your role includes conducting supervisions, contributing to care planning, coaching support workers, and applying the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model to enhance residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Oversee personal care and promote dignity and independence.
* Conduct supervisions and appraisals for support workers.
* Role-model and apply PBS techniques.
* Collaborate with the team to reduce behaviours of concern.
Skills & Attributes
* Experience in a senior care role.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Organisational skills and teamwork ability.
* UK Driving Licence preferred.
Education & Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
