Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs
* Working on a variety of production machinery
* Part of a close:knit, skilled team that is growing and developing
* Start:up and shut down processing plan, equipment and facilities
* Carry out safety tests
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
* Ideally have experience working on motors, conveyers, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics
* Able to read and understand technical drawings
* Able to competently weld and grind.
* Team player able to do ad hoc tasks when necessary
