Business Development Manager – Facilities Manager | Field-Based | Permanent

Arcus FM is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced, ambitious Business Development Manager to help us drive our next phase of growth across Facilities Management business.

What You'll Be Doing


The Role

1. You’ll take the lead on identifying and securing new business opportunities aligned with our growth strategy.
With a focus on Hard FM (and ideally experience developing integrated FM contracts), you’ll:
2. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
3. Network confidently across industry events and forums
4. Develop an understanding of the client’s activities and requirements
5. Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers
6. Work closely with our Operations team to shape, tender, and deliver winning solutions
7. Keep up to date with FM innovations, technology, and legislation to stay ahead of the curve

You’ll report directly to the Business Development Director, collaborating with senior operational directorship and a close-knit, high-performing team.


What We're Looking For


About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

8. Experienced in Business Development within Facilities Management (Hard FM essential; Soft FM, Critical Services or Refrigeration experience an advantage)
9. Has demonstratable written skills
10. A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging at Director level
11. Has a great understanding of solution selling and the consultative approach
12. Commercially astute, methodical, and tenacious
13. Passionate about building long-term client partnerships
14. Prepared to be hands on and do whatever it takes to meet the demands of the clients.
15. Ready to grow your career within a fast-moving, forward-thinking business
