Nursery and Wraparound Care Administrator 30 hours per week - Term time only (work pattern for post below) Scale 5, Point 13-17 - £15.06 - £16.08 per hour (dependent on experience) Permanent, required from January 2026

Newport Infant School and Nursery is a highly successful school where pupils are happy, safe and enjoy learning. The Governors are seeking to appoint a Nursery and Wraparound Administrator to work in the Nursery office. The successful applicant will demonstrate a good knowledge of finance, accounting and ICT skills. They will show commitment and dedication and be open to new and innovative ways of working and will support the vision and ethos of the school. They must be a team player and have good communication skills.

We currently have a vacancy for a Nursery and Wraparound Care Administrator, 30 hours per week from January 2026. Working pattern is:

Monday - 8.30am - 1.00pm

Tuesday - 8.30am - 3.30pm

Wednesday - 8.30am - 3.30pm

Thursday - 8.30am - 1.00pm

Friday - 8.30am - 3.30pm

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024). As this role is in regulated activity it also requires checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and Childcare Act 2006.
