Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained. Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to. Moving carcasses around the factory. Working in a chilled environment. Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming. Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s. Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.) Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines. Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Be highly motivated. Strive for customer satisfaction. Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative. Have a keen eye for quality and high attention to detail. Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
