We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health Visitor to join our Health Visiting team in Mid Argyll, based in Lochgilphead.
This post is part time, 22.3 hours per week.
We are looking for a Health Visitor who will provide safe, effective, client-centred care, with knowledge of child protection systems and current developments within Health Visiting.
As the Health Visitor, you will promote the well-being of children and their families in accordance with the Universal Health Visiting pathway, utilising the GIRFEC principles and approach to underpin assessment and planning for children and their families.
The Child’s planning process is key to this role.
You will provide an accessible, high quality, culturally sensitive, and effective Health Visiting service to the Mid Argyll area. Good IT, communication, and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work as part of a team and also autonomously, are required.
It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC.
You will have a post-registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing, being registered on Part 3 of the NMC register.
You should have relevant experience and be able to provide evidence of academic and experiential learning.
