Would you like to join our friendly and patient-centred team? We are looking for a part-time Reception Administrator to join our small but perfectly formed GP surgery.
Our Practice is in the town of Yate, which lies equidistant (12 miles) between the vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath. We are an extremely friendly and patient-centred practice that is experiencing huge growth due to new houses being built in the area.
We are looking for someone to work hours per week at the following times:

Main duties of the job
The postholder will be the first point of contacts for patients contacting the practice, either by phone, email or in person. Main duties include:
1. Providing a welcoming and efficient reception service to all patients and visitors to the practice.
2. Use care navigation protocols to place patients in the most appropriate appointment
3. Provide administrative support to practice staff including updating patient notes, filing medical documents, test results and ordering repeat prescriptions
4. Manage building opening procedures, including all premises checks required upon opening.

Our practice has a list size of around 5000 and provides patient care on a named doctor basis. There are 2 GP Partners and 2 Salaried GPs working at the Practice. In addition, we have a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of clinicians such as Nurses, a HCA, Clinical Pharmacist, Physician's Associate, Paramedic, Physiotherapist and Mental Health Nurse.
We offer 6 weeks holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata).
